Who is the project for?

The project activities are specifically designed for the three main pillars of our society:

• Third-country nationals: We support foreigners residing legally in the Czech Republic who strive for full involvement in everyday life.
• Applicants for and holders of international protection: We offer professional guidance and assistance to persons in the process of international protection to help them find stability and safety.
• The Czech Public: We involve the majority society in the integration process, break down barriers, and promote awareness for harmonious neighborly and professional coexistence.

Our Key Activities and Services in Hodonín

The Multicultural Center Hodonín provides comprehensive support focused on the practical aspects of life in the Czech Republic, skill development, and strengthening community relations. Our activities are divided into five main pillars:

Individual Assistance and Counseling
Our coordinators provide professional assistance in dealing with various life situations. Services are designed to overcome linguistic and administrative barriers.

• Accompaniment and Assistance: Help with communication at authorities and accompaniment to doctors in the presence of a qualified interpreter.
• Social Stability: Professional counseling and assistance in finding adequate housing or employment.

Support for the Education of Children and Youth

We support pupils and students for whom the Czech education system is a new challenge.

• Individual Tutoring: Targeted help with school preparation, helping students bridge gaps and successfully continue their studies.
• Integration Activities for Youth: Programs focused on meaningful leisure time and building relationships with Czech peers.

Language Education for Adults

Knowledge of the Czech language is a fundamental prerequisite for successful employment and everyday social life.

• Czech Language Courses: We offer regular classes led by an experienced lecturer.
• Practical Orientation: The teaching focuses on communication skills, grammar, and vocabulary needed for daily situations in the Czech environment.

Community Support for Seniors

We create a safe environment for the oldest generation, who may face social isolation in a new country.

• Self-help Group for Seniors from Ukraine: Regular meetings focused on sharing experiences, mutual support, and maintaining social contacts.

Dialogue with the Czech Public We actively work on connecting foreigners with the local community in Hodonín.
